Fardad Farahzad (born April 1, 1986, in Bandar-e Anzali, Iran) is a British-Iranian journalist, television presenter, and entrepreneur. He currently anchors 24 With Fardad Farahzad on Iran International and is the founder of YourTime TV, a decentralized satellite platform allowing users to upload and schedule their own video broadcasts. From 2008 to 2018, Farahzad worked with the BBC World Service and BBC Persian TV, covering major global events such as Iran’s nuclear program, the Arab Spring, and the 2016 Brussels bombings. Known for his impartial reporting, he gained international attention in October 2023 for being among the first journalists to report live from Israel during the Gaza war. Farahzad studied at Ajman University of Science and Technology in the UAE before relocating to London, where he continues his media career.
