Majid Mohammadi is an Iranian-American sociologist, author, and analyst specializing in Middle Eastern politics, Islamism, and civil society. Born in Tehran, he holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Stony Brook University and has taught at institutions such as Glenville State College and Binghamton University. A prolific writer, Mohammadi has authored over 80 books in Persian and more than 20 in English and Arabic, covering topics like political Islam, judicial reform, and Iranian civil society. His works include “Political Islam in Post-Revolutionary Iran” and “The Iranian Reform Movement: Civil and Constitutional Rights in Suspension.” He has also contributed analyses to platforms like Radio Farda and The New Arab, offering critical perspectives on Iran’s political landscape .
