Iran International is a Persian-language television channel and digital news outlet headquartered in London, providing independent news and analysis focused on Iran, the Middle East, and global affairs relevant to Persian-speaking audiences.Launched in May 2017, the channel broadcasts free-to-air via satellite, reaching viewers worldwide, including inside Iran despite government censorship efforts. It is also accessible online, through streaming platforms, and via radio.Due to escalating threats from the Iranian government against its UK-based journalists, Iran International temporarily relocated broadcasting operations to Washington, D.C., in February 2023.
